Clair is a provisional psychologist which means she is provisionally registered as a psychologist but is completing her training under the supervision of Carla to gain her full registration.
Clair holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) degree as well as a Master of Counselling degree and is currently studying certification in Initiatic Art Therapy. Clair has been working as a counsellor and expressive arts therapist prior to deciding to commence her provisional psychologist registration program.
Clair is also highly experienced in art therapy groups, providing vital support during times of life-threatening illness.
Clair utilises a number of different approaches tailored to suit the client’s unique needs, underpinned by her values of kindness, compassion and authenticity. Her approaches include expressive therapies (art making, collage, clay work, music, poetry, movement, and symbol work). None of which require any artistic ability to take part in, as the focus is on the process, and what your inner wisdom offers, rather than the aesthetic product. She also utilises mindfulness meditation; body-centred practices, and traditional talk therapies.
She offers a safe space to feel heard, supported and valued, taking the time to attune to you as a unique individual, and be fully present to allow your inner wisdom to evolve and flourish.
As she’s not fully registered unfortunately Medicare rebates cannot be claimed so we offer her sessions at the reduced rate of $90.
