Emilie is a Clinical Psychologist. She holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science with Honours and a Master of Clinical Psychology. Emilie has experience working with individuals, group interventions, and behaviour assessment and therapy for adults, children and their families.

 

Emilie has worked in both private and public settings supporting individuals across the lifespan with a range of presentations, including mood and anxiety disorders, developmental disorders such as ASD and ADHD, bereavement, chronic pain, stress and trauma, parenting, and emotional, behavioural and cognitive assessments

Emilie has also has worked within a hospital and community-based perinatal mental health team and a hospital-based chronic pain team. Emilie holds an interest in supporting families through the adjustments that come with pregnancy, birth, infancy and beyond. Emilie currently provides support to perinatal clients via telehealth.

 

Emilie utilises a variety of evidence-based therapies, such as Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT). Emilie also has knowledge and experience providing Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Natural Environment Teaching (NET), and Circle of Security informed therapy. Emilie provides a professional and compassionate space caring for her clients while supporting exploration of their unmet needs in a person-centred approach.
