Liesel is an endorsed Clinical Psychologist with over two decades of experience working with parents, carers, children and families.
Liesel is passionate about providing a reflective space in which individuals can explore and make sense of their own experiences to develop insight, understanding and meaningful change.
Liesel enjoys working with individuals and families adjusting to parenthood and throughout the perinatal period, as well as working through trauma and how this is impacts on daily life.
Liesel has also undertaken additional training in the Perinatal and Infant Mental Health field, completing both of the Centre for Perinatal Psychology's; Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Intensive training and Bearing the Unbearable: Perinatal Loss Training. Liesel has also completed training in Circle of Security and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Liesel provides evidence based therapeutic approaches drawing largely on attachment and trauma-informed frameworks, in conjunction with cognitive-behavioural (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapies (ACT).
