Perinatal, Child and Family Hub
Carla Anderson Clinical Psychologist warmly invites you to the Perinatal, Child & Family Hub.
We have a range of allied health professionals working from the Hub rooms, including psychologists, psychiatrist, midwife, and nutritionist.
Focused on providing a safe, non-judgemental and confidential services for families throughout the perinatal and parenthood periods. Many of the psychologists are experienced and dedicated to learning in the perinatal field, having also completed either one or both of the Centre for Perinatal Psychology's training including:
1. Perinatal & Infant Mental Health Intensive
2. Bearing the Unbearable: Perinatal Loss & Grief (Carla was a co-creator).

PCF Hub Director
Carla Anderson
Clinical Psychologist
Carla is the director of the PCF Hub and an endorsed Clinical Psychologist, with over 20 years of experience providing psychological and counselling services, setting up her first private practice in 2005, providing psychological support for individuals and families during the Perinatal period and Children and Youth.
Carla is passionate about providing psychological support to perinatal clients, as well as providing training and supervision related to perinatal and infant mental health.
Carla created the PCF Hub as a shared place for a range of multidiscplinary professionals, passionate about supporting families through the perinatal and parenthood periods.
* If perinatal loss support is required please check with reception for bookings with Carla. Unfortunately for all other new client referrals Carla is currently at capacity but has an amazing team of clinicians able to see new referrals (See below).
Kerrie Malone
Psychologist
Kerrie has over two decades experience working supporting women, children and families. Kerrie is both a Registered Psychologist and a Registered Nurse/Midwife.
Kerrie is passionate about supporting families throughout all stages and changes within the perinatal & parenthood period

Clinical Psychologist
Ange is an experienced endorsed Clinical Psychologist and following a background working as a psychologist in a hospital setting she first established her private practice in 2008. Ange is also a Certified Birth & Postpartum Doula
Ange is passionate about supporting families throughout all stages and changes within the perinatal period.
Anthea Maher
Clinical Psychologist
Anthea is an endorsed Clinical Psychologist with experience working with children, adolescents and adults with a range of concerns.
Anthea's areas of interest include child and youth psychology, neurodevelopmental psychology, perinatal depression and anxiety, body image, adult mental health concerns and trauma.
Debbie Lucas
Clinical Psychologist
Debbie is an endorsed Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years experience working with all ages across the lifespan.
Debbie provides individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, with an interest in the perinatal period, intimacy, chronic pain, LGBTQIA+, depression, anxiety, stress and trauma.
Dr Sarah Woodgate
Perinatal, Infant, Child and Family Psychiatrist
Dr Sarah Woodgate is the founder of "Family Space Psychiatry"
Dr Woodgate completed her undergraduate medical training at the University of New South Wales in 2002 and has worked in mental health in Australia and the United Kingdom for the past 15 years. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists, and completed further Advanced Training in Child, Adolescent and Family Psychiatry.
Dr Woodgate has a special interest in Infant Mental Health and sees families during pre-conception, throughout pregnancy and in the early years of a child’s life.
Meagan McWhirter
Clinical Nutritionist
Meg is a Clinical Nutritionist and founder of "Meg the Nutrionist"
Meg has an interest in maternal health and early childhood nutrition. She is currently undertaking her thesis researching postpartum depression and has been in private clinical practice for over 3 years.
Hannah Roff
Midwife ~ Educator
Hannah is the founder of "The Sacred Bubble" and works alongside a Brisbane midwife/lactation consultant.
Hannah provides midwifery services primarily in the postpartum, offering postnatal checks, newborn checks, and breastfeeding support.
Hannah is also passionate about antenatal education sessions focused on preparing for birth and postpartum planning.
