Pregnancy-related worries and anxiety
Women and their partner may experience pregnancy-related worries and anxiety which is fears, worries and anxiety related specifically to pregnancy.
These anxiety feelings may include:
fears and anxiety related to childbirth,
worries and anxiety about the health of the baby,
worries and anxiety about changes in relationships,
adjustment to pregnancy
as well as concerns about body changes during pregnancy.
Talking with one of our perinatal psychologists or psychiatrist can be helpful to normalise and validate your feelings, as well as work on ways to reduce these fears.
